congrats on becoming a vet, I wish you were in the LA area so I could bring my animals to you (the vets around my area suck!)

I hope you a speedy recovery on what you’re going through!

GiipsySimKittyn • 24 Sep 2008 @ 16:26 GMT

Hey, other Laura! You have such a bright, lovely smile, I hope all goes well with your healh! I also wanted to mention your posts in the debate threads have caught my eye for a long time. -

Congratulations on becoming a real vet! Quite the accomplishment. You have such a pretty smile, and it’s nice to put a face to the name .

Rabid • 24 Sep 2008 @ 18:56 GMT

Yeah, Carmen was especially hard to track down…

And I’m sure I just sound like I’m repeating everyone else, but congratulations on becoming a full-fledged vet!

Aww, thanks for the comments guys Glad you like my smile – I think it’s a terrible pic actually (was absolutely knackered when it was taken) but it is the only vaguely sort of current one I have.

lmfjaxxon • 27 Sep 2008 @ 09:04 GMT

Hi Laura! Thanks for all the advice you gave me about my new kitten on the forums
It’s been interesting to put a face to the name!

*roxette • 28 Sep 2008 @ 11:43 GMT

Heey Laura!
First of all, congrats on becoming a vet!
Secondly, your eyes are so pretty!

~Squash-buddy-ven~ • 28 Sep 2008 @ 19:50 GMT

They’re getting on too well! lol. They’re lovely when they’re apart.. but when they get together they cause all sorts of trouble, chasing after each other and working together to chew and destroy anything lying around! They’re such a bad influence on each other! The kitten was scared of the rabbit at first, but he wasn’t bothered by her so they soon bonded as he went to investigate her and she got more brave and went to investigate back! She accepts him as part as the family now.. She even washes him sometimes, when he’ll let her! And sometimes she rubs her head on him in the morning like she’s trying to coax him to wash her! He usually just screws his nose up and hops off though…

*roxette • 28 Sep 2008 @ 23:20 GMT

Phew just realised how long that comment was! But I am pleased they’re getting on

*roxette • 28 Sep 2008 @ 23:21 GMT

I saw your pic before it came out here in a S2C thread and as I said there – you look so nice and I love your smile. Congrats you are a vet – the animals can be very pleased.

himawara106 • 30 Sep 2008 @ 19:36 GMT

Thanks sweety. And yay for finding someone else who like the Dubliners. Too bad i can’t go to see them next week. They’re in a nearby town, but i can’t stand up for a long time. So maybe i can see them next time they’re here.

angel f • 2 Oct 2008 @ 09:18 GMT

Hehe so you did! I only just realised too… Ahh well. I was most probably being distracted by them chasing each other round the living room at the time!

*roxette • 6 Oct 2008 @ 22:29 GMT

Dreamydre15 • 12 Oct 2008 @ 03:53 GMT

Hehe, you have pretty good taste in TV shows as well! The NT was totally amazing. I was in awe of it all, and now I want to go back .
Great picture!

PixCii • 14 Oct 2008 @ 21:51 GMT

Hey! congrats on your graduation! my big dream was becoming a vet until I discovered I didn’t like to study science some years ago. I’m more a “humanities” person (I don’t know if I can say it like that in english).
well anyways I still dream of working with animal so YOU’RE LUCKY!
and great quote :p

Lunatic Asylum • 19 Oct 2008 @ 12:19 GMT

Howdy neighbor! thought I’d drop by with some banana bread and maybe visit for a bit…what? oh you’re busy? well then I’ll just leave the bread on the sideboard and let myself out…oh and i want my damned serving platter back, too! just ‘cause someone gives you a present on a plate doesn’t mean you get the plate too…wanders back home grumbling and muttering under her breath

longdaysend • 24 Oct 2008 @ 14:34 GMT

Thanks! And I think that was my favourite quote of all five books, I’m so pessemistic that it suits me well

Lollipop_Girl • 25 Oct 2008 @ 20:07 GMT

Hello fellow Aussie! Congrats on becoming a vet. I wanted to be a vet for a really long time, but in the end followed another path. So I’m kinda jealous because that was a childhood dream of mine that I ended up wimping out on. I hope everything goes well for you health-wise. Pain is a PITA! LOL
