Hey everyone – thanks for the comments!

Japan is WONDERFUL! I am having a great time and loving every second of it.

The language is going slowly… and I have noone but myself to blame (although its sooooo cute how excited the other teachers get when I learn something new to say to them).:p

Well, if any of you find yourself in the Toyama region, give me a shout – there may well be room on my tatami mats and a tour of more obscure yet interesting things here.

How does one have Cholera hanging for their glove, you ask?

Well, in the musical The Secret Garden, if you’re dead odds are you died of cholera. So, all the dreamers (spirits/chorus singers) wore red scarves that represented Cholera or death.

And hey, you’re named Michelle too!

Pretty darn sweet that you’re teaching in Japan; the Engrish you hear must be a hoot! XD Have fun over there!

Happy birthday to you!!

I think a lot of people will envy you having chance to live in Japan.

Michelle:

Yeah, I understand that.
It can sometimes be very lonely if you are all by yourself in a foreign country.
