Hi! My real name is Ta Lin, which roughly translates into Tatelin (The name I use at school etc), but I usually go by Tat. I’m a girl and I’ve only recently finished school and moved up to college.

I started playing Sims 1 about six years ago, when I first saw my cousin use it in China. As soon as I saw it, I was just obsessed with Sims. On the way back to my Australian home, we stopped at some random store in Singapore and I begged my parents to buy me the game.

In due course, I had all of the expansion packs for TS1. Soon after, I started on The Sims Resource and that’s where I got wind of Sims 2.

A few weeks later, my dad went off to Singapore. He rang up one day, and the first thing I told him was “I WANT THE NEW SIMS GAME DAD!”. Because my dad is such a sweetie, he browsed all of the stores and couldn’t find it. He re-rang me up and said “I can’t find your game Tat,”. I told him to hold the phone and I went off and checked online. Apparently, TS2 wasn’t out yet xD. My dad then said “Would you like War Of The Worlds Instead?” and I’m like “HELL NO!”. In the end, I got TS2 and that’s basically the story xD.
