married, daughter, pets – manx, minature poodle, ferret, and Sims2 Pets too. I love traveling. I’ve been to every state but Alaska in the U.S., north to Canada, south to Mexico, throughout western Europe, and as far away as Australia and Korea. I love art, architecture, trees, water, and almost anything metaphysical.
favourite tv show
almost anything on the history/discovery channel
notable events in 2006
Gma’s 70th birthday party in conjuntion with ceramic and mesquite art shows and wine fest.
And trip across half of the United States – Smithsonian, Boston harbor, Vermont’s original Ben and Jerry’s, Harper’s Ferry, Cumberland Falls, the beaches, parks, and art galleries.
favorite quote
I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream… if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dreams… if you have been opened by life’s betrayals or have become shriveled… if you can sit with pain… without moving to hide it or fade it or fix it…. if you can dance with wilderness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, be realistic, or to remember the limitations…

GreenStraws • 9 Nov 2006 @ 18:55 GMT
Comments while I am still getting everything filled out… Wow! I am still trying to figure out how to do everything. I finally have text in my boxes and a very fuzzy picture. I’ll keep working on it.
Ciane • 9 Nov 2006 @ 19:38 GMT
You’ve heard of Blaine? Seriously? O.o That surprises me!
DameSporkalot • 9 Nov 2006 @ 20:00 GMT
Hahaha… Maybe greece is scared of you…

GreenStraws • 9 Nov 2006 @ 20:04 GMT
Nice to see you Ciane! I love your hair =)
FireAzor • 9 Nov 2006 @ 21:05 GMT
Thanks – it’s naturally curly. I cut it short for Locks for Love (wigs for cancer patient) and then grew it out again. I will try to get a better pic though.
Ciane • 9 Nov 2006 @ 22:06 GMT
Mmm, now I’m thinking about Ben and Jerry’s, shame on you!
chelseaw • 10 Nov 2006 @ 00:30 GMT
I think you’re my new best friend! Love art, Love pottery! From Texas! swoon
And I’m actually an aspiring potter
Doursim • 10 Nov 2006 @ 01:53 GMT
They have such great flavors!
I like to go to the annual clay fest by New Braunsfels every October! And I love sculpting with clay, though getting on the potter’s wheel has a great rhythm to it.

Hi Ciane
nice to meet you, your pic is very spiritual (if that’s the word lol). You look like a flower child
corvidophile2 • 10 Nov 2006 @ 11:39 GMT
It’s a flapper outfit from the roaring 20s. It was a modeling job and we danced the Charleston – lots of fun.
Ciane • 10 Nov 2006 @ 14:49 GMT
Thanks for the comment. I love your look-very bohemian. I enjoy drawing portraits, but my paintings are best described as very basic floral or natural in an impressionist style. Sounds silly but it’s hard to explain.
cinnamon_gurl • 10 Nov 2006 @ 19:23 GMT
My husband is military, we’re both from Houston
Also, very cool! Dancing the charleston! I love ballroom dancing, though I really like latin better than international or standard.
Doursim • 10 Nov 2006 @ 21:15 GMT
Hey thanks for the comment see ya around
mzcynnamon • 11 Nov 2006 @ 06:41 GMT

Oooh, that pictures cool! I love the word “flapper”, hehe. It’s cool that you travel loads too, I would love to but as yet I haven’t flown the nest much ;P
Vicci • 11 Nov 2006 @ 12:07 GMT
i used to live in houston for 4 years, way too hot for me. I like 4 seasons, and my favorite is fall, winter and spring.
OpenHouseJack • 11 Nov 2006 @ 21:51 GMT
Hello Ciane, I thought I would return the favour and take a look at your space. I can’t believe you actually looked at pink star’s paradise! Nobody ever looks at that, its why I write a lot of rubbish! I do like your hair too its soooo long. I can’t believe you’ve travelled so far!
iampinkstar • 12 Nov 2006 @ 11:09 GMT
Hey Ciane…hoping you will have another house type contest. I’m an official Ciane contest junkie.
Great pic despite the fuzziness. :*)
lucentgem • 12 Nov 2006 @ 20:02 GMT
I discovered long ago that my naturally curly hair needs to be long (or I have a natural fro in high humidity).
The contest just dropped in this afternoon.
Ciane • 13 Nov 2006 @ 02:15 GMT
I’ve been to Texas alot to visit my uncle its nice but its really hot outside then you go inside and freeze. Makes me crazy! I hope you have a house contest I was in the last one even though I didn’t make it very far it was still fun.
Brook_Lynn_Marie • 13 Nov 2006 @ 02:15 GMT
Hehe, thanks. The braid it was in was so messy I had knots from it afterwards! I love your curly hair! Mine is pin straight.

Hi, Ciane.
Love your contests and your Sim art. You certainly like to travel! When in Scotland, if you can’t see the hills it’s raining, if you can it’s about to rain. Enjoy your sun.
romyhorse • 14 Nov 2006 @ 15:27 GMT
yeah. But I loved Edinburgh – the castle, the hills, the park – and it was fairly nice weather while we were there.
Ciane • 14 Nov 2006 @ 15:42 GMT
Thanks for the compliment..I like your shot too!
poppea • 14 Nov 2006 @ 16:55 GMT
no wire wrapping…nymo and softflex. there’s something therapeutic about stitching with beads and being able to wear the results.
Catrilla • 19 Nov 2006 @ 02:01 GMT
Hey, it’s nice to see you too!
Great job with the contest, by the way, and the webpage you made looks amazing!
