Dee, I like your yearbook entry. Anyone with a little class and knowledge would recognize that a Muslim cannot photograph themselves, with the exception of special circumstances. I love your picture because it represents who you are and hopefully nothing more will be made of the issue from your fellow community members – unless they are moderators who have that authority.

No offense to anyone. I was not trying to be mean or talk to you as though you were a child. I don’t have to be the so-called “yearbook police” to make a comment about not following rules. I made that comment because it’s not fair for others to post a picture of someone else and say that represents them. If it was, then all of us should be able to do it. And chyna, I already know about what you mentioned. It doesn’t take class to know that. But why post a photo of someone else, especially when pretty much only the eyes are showing? She could have done that herself to show only eyes or no picture at all. I don’t have to be a moderator to state my opinions. The same goes for anyone. And yes jazzy, it’s hard to find true friends. I agree with you about that.

What I do with my book is none of your business. Period. Why the flip are you so concerned about why I have a pic or not? I wonder if it’s the fact that it’s just the eyes, or maybe something else.
