personal bio
I am a college student who has lived in the USA since I was about 4. I’ve lived in two states—Indiana and Tennessee—and I’m attending college in Florida. I love psychology and hope to get involved in the field of criminal psychology. I have to get a M.S. and a Ph.D., though, which means my formal education won’t end until I’m almost 30
. Now for the stuff that’s actually interesting…
Weird Facts About Me:
- I have the dubious distinction of being associated with three universities which had once been voted No. 1 Party School in America. ‘tis sad.
- I may be Chinese, but I don’t like eggplant (aubergine), Peking duck, or hotpots (gasp! Blasphemy!).
- I have an obsession with erasers. No, really, I used to collect cute erasers and I have a bag full of them near my desk.
- My composure completely fails me when I see cats and kittens—I have this really embarrassing habit of “petting” my computer screen when I see them.
- I love cleaning greasy dishes, much to my parents’ delight (and everyone else’s surprise
). I even like cleaning laboratory glassware.

Looks like you like to travel. Do you speak Chinese? I can say hello (mushy mushy), thank you (shay shay), may I help you (ah no nay), and I understand (ah so desko). I learned most of the words to a nursery rhyme tune years and years ago – a great way to remember things later.

Yeah, I do like to travel, but I never got as many chances to go overseas as I’d have liked. I can speak Chinese, though the terms you mentioned—”moshi moshi” and “soo desu ka” are actually Japanese terms
. The Chinese commonly say “wei?” when answering the phone.

So I guess it’s just thank you in my limited Chinese vocabulary. The nursery rhyme will now get me in trouble in Japan instead. I like the added info in your bio – petting the computer screen – great image.

Koreas really beautiful, especially in the mountains. But other than that it’s pretty normal. They spend a good deal of their time drinking, so I spent a good deal of my time there either hung over or buzzed. lol. Don’t drink if you want to be able to tell people what you did there (with any degree of accuracy).
